Now in its 32nd year, the AFI Latin American Film Festival is one of North America's largest and longest-running showcases of Latin American cinema. With the inclusion of films from Spain and Portugal, the festival celebrates Ibero-American cultural connections during National Hispanic Heritage Month.

Featuring numerous international film festival favorites, award winners, local box office hits and debut works by promising new talents, the festival is one of Washington's top cultural events. Don't miss your chance to see excellent new films and be part of the discussion between a diverse audience of filmmakers and film lovers.

Festival Pass

Explore Latin American cinema with a Festival Pass! The all-access Festival Pass gives you admission for one to every film in the AFI Latin American Film Festival, including Opening and Closing Night. Valued at more than $700!

Once the full lineup and schedule are announced on September 2, you will have the opportunity to reserve a seat, either by phone or in person, for each film you wish to attend. Advance reservations are strongly recommended. Walk-up admissions on the day of a screening will be accepted on the basis of availability, but are not guaranteed.
