Reloadable gift cards may be purchased in any customized amount at the theatre, or in our online shop in $25, $50 and $100 amounts. Cards may be redeemed online for ticket purchases, or in person at the theatre for ticket and concession purchases. To reload your card, visit a team member at the theatre.
In which theater will my film be shown?
There are many factors that determine which film is shown in which theater. Films are often moved around to accomodate special needs. We appreciate our guests' special interest in our Historic Theater. Unfortunately, for the reasons stated above, we cannot verify that your film will be shown there.

How do I purchase tickets online?
Same-day: From the AFI.com/Silver home page, click your selected film title in the white calendar box on the right side of the page.
Advance: From the AFI.com/Silver home page, click the red "VIEW CALENDAR" button in the righthand sidebar, located below the white calendar box. Then click your selected film title. You may also CLICK HERE for a list of all available films in alphabetical order.
After you have clicked your selected film title and reached that title’s film page, click on the showtime you wish to attend. This will redirect you to our online purchase platform, administered by Windcave. Please make sure to include your details (Name, Email, Phone Number) to receive a copy of your tickets by the end of the transaction. After you enter your card details, please click “NEXT” to receive your tickets.
How will I receive the tickets that I bought online?
You will receive an email with your tickets in PDF version. Tickets purchased online may be printed at home or retrieved at the box office using the same credit card used to purchase the tickets. AFI Silver accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover for online purchases.
Can I buy multiple tickets at once for the same film?
Yes, you can buy multiple tickets for the same film (up to 10).
Can I buy multiple tickets at once for different films?
No, you cannot buy multiple tickets for different films in a single transaction; in that case, you will need to make separate purchases.
Is the $1 online transaction fee per purchase or per ticket?
The $1 online transaction fee is per ticket.
The website is not allowing me to purchase my tickets. What can I do to complete the purchase?

What should I do if I do not receive an email after my purchase?
Please send us an email (silverinfo@AFI.com). We will confirm your purchase and then forward your ticket or booking number to you.
I bought an AFI Silver ticket online and was directed to a site called Windcave. How do I get back to the AFI Silver site from there?
When you reach the Windcave page, after clicking “Submit” to enter your credit card payment info, please be sure to also click “Next” on the window immediately following to complete the transaction.
Clicking the “Next” button will complete the transaction and return you to the AFI Silver website, where you will find details on your transaction including a booking number and a ticket number.
Important: If you fail to click the “Next” button on this screen, the submitted transaction will NOT be completed.
I bought an AFI Silver ticket online, but the staff at the box office could find no record of it. It appeared on my card statement at one point, but it has since disappeared. What happened?
The most likely explanation is that after clicking “Submit” on the Windcave page to make the purchase, you may not have then clicked “Next” on the window immediately following and instead returned to the AFI Silver site. When that happens, the submitted transaction has NOT been completed.
The transaction may have initially appeared on your card statement as pending, but it likely was automatically canceled, and you will need to complete a new ticket purchase. Banks typically release the funds to you in three to five business days from the date of the initial transaction.
Clicking the “Next” button both completes the transaction and returns you to the AFI Silver website, where you will find details on your transaction, including a booking number and a ticket number.

What is your refund policy?
Ticket refunds are offered only in person, at the box office, for the first 30 minutes of the show. Please retain ticket stub as proof of purchase as it is required for a refund.

The box office opens 30 minutes before the first screening of the day and closes 15 minutes after the last show of the day.
