FISH N' CHIPS
Frazzled from his years as an overworked fry cook in London, cockney-accented Andy decides to return to his native Cyprus, dragging along his mother, suffering from Alzheimer's, his German girlfriend and her daughter. Looking to start over, the four open "The Codfather," a seaside joint serving up fish n' chips, a greasy snack that baffles most Cypriot beachgoers. Inspired by the experiences of first-time feature filmmaker Elias Demetriou, himself a British, Greek and Cypriot citizen, this comedy of manners is filled with both heart and wit.
