Now in its 34th year, the AFI European Union Film Showcase continues its tradition of bringing the best in European cinema to Washington, DC-area audiences. This year's selection includes international film festival award winners, European box office hits and debut works by promising new talents, plus many countries' official Oscar® submissions for Best Foreign Language Film.

Passports
Can't get enough of European film? The all-access Passport gives you admission for one to every screening, including Opening and Closing Night and Special Presentations. At the end of the Showcase, you can see how many countries you "visited" by checking the stamps in your Passport.

Once the full lineup and schedule are announced on November 15, you will have the opportunity to reserve a seat, either by email or in person, for each film you wish to attend. Advance reservations are strongly recommended. Walk-up admissions for passport-holders on the day of a screening will be accepted based on availability but are not guaranteed.

Early-Bird Passports go on sale October 21, with an exclusive ticket booking window for passport-holders November 15­–18. Individual general admission tickets go on sale November 19.
