Greg Sestero returns to AFI Silver
for the first time since 2011’s
unforgettable stage production of
“The Room: Live” to discuss his
memoir, “The Disaster Artist: My
Life Inside the Room, the Greatest
Bad Movie Ever Made.” Plans to
turn Sestero’s buzzed-about book
into a motion picture, directed by
and starring James Franco, were
recently announced. Sestero will
recount his experience working
with the enigmatic writer/
director/star Tommy Wiseau
on THE ROOM, the legendary
cult sensation that has won over audiences worldwide. This
multimedia event features a new behind-the-scenes documentary
about the making of THE ROOM, a book and script reading and
an audience Q&A, plus a screening of THE ROOM.
Post-program book sale and signing, followed by a
screening of THE ROOM at approx. 10:00.
